Mr. Marcel Goeres
In March 1993, Marcel Goeres, with no prior hospitality experience, took the extraordinary decision to cut short his pension, cash in his savings and invest his time, energy and resources into a project that celebrated 25 years in March 2018.
He demolished the family house and the adjoining buildings, connected the buildings together and created the Parc Belair hotel and from there developed Luxembourg’s first hospitality group.
Throughout the last 27 years, the Goeres Group has developed to include other properties in Luxembourg City and will continue to do so but all the while, the group has held on to the roots and values of the spirit of 27 years ago, namely a family organization. The notion of family is extended to all involved in the group over the last two and a half decades.
